Here are today’s top Bedford stories:
- Windy has a new home, and the NH Animal Rescue League couldn’t be happier. Windy is with her new brother Teddy, “and we know their family is thrilled!” the ARLNH wrote in a recent article. And that’s only part of the story. This is #SubaruLovesPets month, and “Granite Subaru will donate $100 for each animal adopted this month, up to $3,100!” Now is the perfect time to visit ARLNH in Bedford to give a deserving animal a new home. - Bedford parents are asked to help the Bedford Athletic Club. The nonprofit BAC recreation program said it could not offer its programs and activities without the help and support of the community. More than 700 children participate in BAC’s fall soccer program, from kindergarten to grade 8. To find out how you can help, email [email protected]. (Bedford Athletic Club via Facebook)
- Did you spin around in a fall corn maze, only to find the exit? That’s half the fun! WMUR viewers were asked to vote for the best corn maze in New Hampshire, and here’s how they voted: Beans & Greens Farm in Gilford made the top five. Some viewers said they made sure to go to this maze every year! Moulton Farm in Meredith and Elwood Orchards in Londonderry are tied for third place. Coppal House Farm in Lee came second. And the corn maze with the most votes was Devriendt Farm in Goffstown! Do you agree? See aerial views of these amazing corn mazes here: (WMUR)
