- Families with pets face a new challenge: it is becoming more and more expensive to take care of them. “More and more people are giving up their pets because they can no longer afford them,” shelter officials said. A family had to make the difficult decision to bring their adorable five-year-old beagle, Opal, to the Animal Rescue League of New Hampshire when they couldn’t afford the $12,000 surgery they needed. - Finding your Segway-Ninebot scooter can now be much easier. Segway announced a partnership with Apple to integrate its find my Smart Technology in its 2023 scooter product line.
