- Following on from a discussion that began at the Concord City Council meeting on January 10, council to consider revisions to Concordâs Housing Unit (HEU) update on January 17. âThe HEU contains goals, policies and programs to meet the housing needs of all Concord residents from 2023 to 2031.â At the January 10 meeting, after public review and comment, the board closed the public hearing and continued the conversation until January 17 due to the lateness of the meeting. - A total of six vehicles were hit with âa projectile, possibly a pellet or BBâ on Brentwood Blvd. in the town of Brentwood on Friday. Fortunately, no injuries were reported. - Kimberly Wiese, 16, is a junior Dougherty Valley High in San Ramon. She is also a Olympic hopeful 2028 in weightlifting. She started at the age of 11 and quickly rose to the level of an elite athlete in the sport. Wiese will travel to Albania in March as a member of Team USA at the 2023 IWF World Junior Championships and is one to watch. âShe looks good to be on an Olympic team.
