Hello, neighbors. I’m here with your Thursday edition of the Manchester Daily, filled with all the community information you need to know right now.
But first, today’s weather:
Drizzle; late freezing. Top: 36 Bottom: 30.
π’ I am looking for business owners and marketers in Manchester who want to get noticed, connect with customers and increase sales.
I have a limited number of sponsorships available to introduce our readers to local businesses they need to know about. If this is you, then I invite you to learn more and secure your place now.
Here are today’s top three stories in Manchester:
- A new transformer is being moved through New Hampshire today. Eversource has announced that it will move giant electrical equipment from Hooksett to Hampton. The transformer will serve as a backup power source in emergency situations. The move will take place between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. in a special truck and trailer. (Patch)
- The New Hampshire House of Representatives has ruled against allowing weapons in the Representative Hall. The decision fell through 177-197 yesterday. Opponents pointed out that New Hampshire does not allow lethal weapons in courtrooms and prisons, and the same should apply to the House. The debate on this issue is ongoing. (In depth NH)
- Two state troopers and a man from Concord were injured in a car accident on I-93. The accident happened on Tuesday, when a car hit the back of a state police cruiser in the emergency lane. State troopers were assisting a driver when Michael Dimatti, 31, rammed into them as they attempted to merge. The three individuals were taken to hospital for treatment. (Officer)
