William E. Green, Jr. joined the Delaware office as an attorney with a focus on complex corporate and commercial matters, with particular emphasis on litigation before the Court of Chancery of Delaware related to mergers and acquisitions, directors’ liability and officers, shareholder lawsuits and business valuation matters involving Delaware corporations and LLCs, and securities regulatory investigations and enforcement matters.
Prior to joining HFK, Mr. Green worked for nearly a decade in the Investor Protection Unit of the Delaware Department of Justice’s Fraud and Consumer Protection Division, where he represented the State of Delaware in the administration and enforcement of securities laws in administrative, civil, and criminal procedural matters. Previously, he practiced commercial litigation focused on the internal governance of Delaware business entities with the Delaware firms Potter Anderson & Corroon and Morris, Nichols, Arsht & Tunnel. James Hodge joined the Jackson office with extensive experience working with select small and medium-sized businesses, trusts, families and individuals in building, operating and managing their businesses, with a focus on their complex commercial and real estate transactions. He is also an arbitrator and mediator with the American Arbitration Association.

In 2004, Mr. Hodge began his private practice under the name James. B. Hodge, attorney, in Jackson, Wyoming. Prior to opening his own firm, from 1981 to 2004, Mr. Hodge held numerous positions at Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton, LLP, an international law firm headquartered in Los Angeles, including Equity Partner Resident, Managing Partner, Firm Business Development Coordinator and Member of the Professional Personnel and Corporate Services and Real Estate Committee of its San Francisco office. Prior to that, Mr. Hodge was founder and managing partner of Hodge, Buchannan, Falik & Dupree and its predecessors from 1974 to 1981. Mr. Hodge began his legal career with Morrison & Foerster, LLP, in San Francisco as as an associate in the business department from 1971 to 1974.
