Here are the top stories in Roseville today:
- Roseville is the manufacturing center of Placer County. This fact was not lost on Quick Quack Car Wash, the fourth largest car wash company in the country. They recently decided to move their manufacturing to Roseville, creating 60 new jobs in both software and hardware engineering. More jobs are planned for the town as the business continues to grow. - Kaiser is also planning an expansion in Roseville. “Plans are beginning to move forward for Kaiser Permanente’s inpatient bed bumper project,” says KCRA3. The project would add 138 hospital beds and 728 new jobs to the city. The planning commission approved the necessary modification last week and it is now up to the city council to hear the proposal. Two public hearings are also required. (KCRA Sacramento)
- The City of Roseville wants to help you protect your online shopping this holiday season. They have published a list of tips for shopping online as well as protecting those packages from porch hackers. “If you believe you have been the victim of package or mail theft, file a report on the Roseville Police Department website: www.roseville.ca.us” (Roseville)
- A police substation was approved by the Rocklin City Council for the Rocklin West Mall at their November 8 meeting. They also received an update on the Rocklin Road and Pacific Street Roundabout project and they recognized forty years of service from Rocklin Friends Of The Library. . - “Wayback Burgers of Roseville will be hosting a two-day Burger Bash in honor of its fifth anniversary and the restaurant’s new owner.
