November 15, 2022
Insurance Brands Australia has acquired Bendigo-based brokerage firm Aus Insurance Services, strengthening its presence in Victoria’s North West region.
The Steadfast-owned business completed the acquisition of its former licensed partner last week for an undisclosed amount. Insurance Brands Australia is the parent company of Insurance House and other intermediaries with a combined annual gross written premium of $438 million.
Insurance House Broking Managing Director Scott Leis says he is “really delighted to bring Aus Insurance Services into the Insurance House family”.
Aus Insurance Services MD Jarrod Nelson is now an integral part of the Insurance House Bendigo team, continuing to support existing and new clients in the Victoria area, the Melbourne brokerage says in a brief statement on its website.
As part of Insurance House, Aus Insurance customers will have access to a wider range of products, competitively negotiated premiums and innovative risk management solutions, including workers’ compensation and life insurance.
They will also have access to a 24/7 emergency helpline, specialist underwriting facilities and roadside assistance.
Steadfast acquired Insurance Brands Australia in August for $301 million.
