The Hartman Group participates in the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America “Best Practices” Study Group, according to a press release.
Every year since 1993, Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America and Reagan Consulting, an Atlanta-based management consulting firm, have joined forces to study the nation’s leading agencies.
“The agencies that make up the study groups are selected every three years through a comprehensive nomination and qualification process and are awarded the designation of ‘best practice agency'”, says the press release. “There are more than 37,000 independent agencies in the United States and 2,600 independent agencies across the country were nominated to participate in the annual study, but only 282 agencies qualified for this honor. The Hartman Group was nominated and selected based on its operational excellence. »
The annual survey and study of leading independent insurance agencies documents the business practices of the most successful agencies and urges others to adopt similar practices.
“We believe in using relevant benchmarks to track our performance for our clients, and we are very pleased that this study validates our results and supports our continuous improvement,” Michael Gaetano, chairman of the Hartman Group, said, according to the press release. “The Hartman Group was founded in 1932 and offers insurance products from a wide range of trusted carriers.”
Founded in 1896, the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America is the nation’s oldest and largest national association of independent insurance agents and brokers, representing more than 25,000 agencies. Reagan Consulting is a financial and management consulting firm specializing in services to the insurance distribution system.
