    Do you need health insurance? The open registration period is now open in Connecticut, New Jersey and New York

    Do you need health insurance? The annual open enrollment period is now open in Connecticut, New Jersey and New York for coverage in 2023.

    Below is all the information you need if you want to register in all three states:

    CONNECTICUT

    Customers who enroll before December 15, 2022 will receive coverage from January 1, 2023. Those who enroll between December 16, 2022 and January 15, 2023 will receive coverage from February 1, 2023.

    NEW JERSEY

    In New Jersey, open enrollment takes place once a year, from November 1 through January 31. This is usually the only time you can sign up for coverage unless you have a qualifying life event.

    GetCoveredNJ is the only place New Jersey residents can apply for financial assistance to reduce the cost of your monthly premiums and health insurance out-of-pocket expenses.

    NEW YORK

    The New York State Health Enrollment Open the coverage period in a Qualified Health Plan 2023 began November 16, 2022. Enroll by the 15th of the month for coverage beginning the first of the following month. Consumers must enroll by December 15, 2022 for coverage beginning January 1, 2023.

    Enrollment in other programs through NY State of Health (Medicaid, Child Health Plus, and Essential Plan) is available year-round.

    There are three ways to register in New York State:

    Call the NY State of Health Customer Service Center at 1-855-355-5777.

    Go online for https://nystateofhealth.ny.gov/. A chat function is available on the website during the opening hours of the customer service center to help you complete your request.
