Greystar Real Estate Partners, LLC has reached final closing of Greystar Credit Partners III, LP. The $600 million commercial real estate debt fund will focus on acquiring securitized subordinated debt and private label securitizations, junior notes and mezzanine debt secured by the continuum of residential assets for rent.

“GCP III is the continuation of an effort initiated in 2018 to evolve into credit strategies that leverage nearly 30 years of multi-family operating expertise to make thoughtful, data-driven and timely primary investment decisions. said Brett Lashley, general manager and leader. credit to Greystar, based in Charleston, South Carolina.

“Greystar’s credit business has raised over $2 billion in unleveraged capital and continues to broaden the focus of the business with additional strategies focused on CRE debt. While we are always patient stewards of the capital entrusted to us, we look forward to deploying this capital in an environment where the risk/return parameters may improve.
