The invitation-only workshop brought together members of
Ed Slott’s Elite IRA Advisor Group SM; he provided in-depth technical training on advanced retirement account planning strategies, tax law changes and estate planning techniques.
The workshop also featured an update to the SECURE Act since the IRS released proposed 2022 regulations earlier this year that provide guidance on many parts of the law.

A detailed look at the Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) for 2022, including updates on determining Required Start Dates (RBDs) and the “still active” exception A full IRA update on the latest changes in IRA tax laws, new tax strategies, rulings, court cases and planning opportunities.
A special presentation from Vicki Rackner MD, Director of Engaging Doctors, on how financial advisors can better serve physicians.
The workshop also included an in-depth look at how to help customers make key bearing decisions and walked participants through a step-by-step assessment process to help determine whether it is best to ride, stay put or retire.
Guest speaker Kirsten M. Lewis, Esq. with The Bowden Law Firm, LLC presented on best practices for advising families with special needs beneficiaries, while guest speaker Shannon L. Evans, JD presented strategies for avoiding IRA trust disasters .
