Advisor360° starts 2023 by welcoming new technological tools and new teammates.
Based in Weston, MA wealth management technology company acquired the digital technology and related wealth management assets of client onboarding automation Accord Express software developer.
The agreement, a landmark first acquisition for Advisor360°, includes the transfer of technology, intellectual property, clients and professionals from Accord Express’ wealth management business. The team that supports Accord Express’ existing wealth management businesses and clients will continue in their current roles at Advisor360°.
“Advisor360° provides wealth managers with technology solutions that transform the way they connect with clients, which is why this transaction was a perfect fit,” said Rich Napolitano, CEO of Advisor360°, who added that 2022 has been a year of strong organic growth for the company, and this first acquisition is a sign that things aren’t slowing down.
“The Agreement Express transaction significantly accelerates our ability to deliver expanded choice and connectivity on our platform, and we will continue to raise the bar in 2023 and beyond,” Napolitano said in a statement. “We are delighted to welcome our new Accord Express colleagues and customers to Advisor360°. As we look to 2023, business is business as usual, which means more innovation for the benefit of our clients.”
Once the technology is integrated, Advisor360° will be able to support investment and insurance accounts from all major custodians and clearing houses and offer a wider range of integrations with major CRM vendors of the sector.
Advisor360° officials also expect the existing platform to be enhanced by new assets in other areas, including further automation and streamlining of paper and electronic workflows; simplified collection, organization and grouping of information; new digital signature features; and onboarding advisors en masse for team hires or new office acquisitions.
The agreement also expands Advisor360°’s growing global footprint and talent pool by bringing personnel from Accord Express’ workforce to Canada. Last year, the company opened its first non-US location in Bengaluru, India.
“We are thrilled that this company is now part of one of the wealth management industry’s largest providers of integrated technology solutions,” said Dave O’Brien, CEO of Accord Express, in a statement. “As Advisor360°, we appreciate that the best technology provides flexibility and choice, streamlining processes to help businesses grow.”
