    Berkshire Hathaway’s biggest franchise gets new general manager

    Berkshire Hathaway Home Services Properties in Nevada, Arizona and California, which had $9.3 billion in residential home sales in those states in 2021, named John “JT” Thompson as chief executive.

    A veteran of the real estate industry, Thompson will oversee and support the managers of 34 offices with more than 2,900 real estate sales managers. He will focus on driving sales, recruiting, retention and increasing market share in his new role.

    Thompson worked alongside Gino Blefari, the current CEO of Home Services of America, Inc., for more than two decades, Thompson being an integral part of the company’s growth.

    Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Nevada, Arizona and California Properties is a wholly owned subsidiary of HomeServices of America, Inc. It currently operates in three states with 2,900 real estate sales managers and 34 offices.
