Real estate came naturally to me. Countless meetings, open houses and overheard phone conversations with my parents and grandparents assured me that real estate was in my blood; a part of me. So in 2005, at the ripe old age of 19, I dove into it.
Little did I know that we would all soon be going through some of the toughest times in our lives… during the Great Recession. I could barely GIVE a house. Sellers had to bring cash to close, and buyers were running around me, seeing house after house after house. Then see the same house again 30, 40, 50 days later! Nothing like 2020 and 2021 (but, is anything like that? There’s nothing normal about those two years in real estate). It was NUTSO!
Fast forward. A couple overcame addictions, a failed marriage, remarriage, four children and later a near death experience, I am finally where I need to be – where God called me. Now, alongside my wonderful husband, we run The Legacy Team with Coldwell Banker-NHS Real Estate. We know that selling a home is more than that. It’s you, our customers, your families, your careers and your livelihood.
