What skills do you have that make you an effective leader?

One of my favorite things about my job is being able to talk to so many great people. This work requires an immense amount of gratitude and humility; the opportunity to sit in a room full of business owners and listen to each of them and their problems, to stand alongside first responders and watch them work or hear their heroic stories, and then to be able to go to Tallahassee and defend each of them. This job requires perseverance, determination and a heart for people and I think the past 4 years have proven that I have what it takes to be the CFO of our great state.

If elected, what legislation or policy will you advocate during your term?

The most pressing issue that I have already begun to tackle as CFO is protecting our small businesses from super IRS. I’m helping to craft legislation that will prevent small businesses from being politically targeted by the IRS. Florida saw $23 billion new revenue is coming to the state since the pandemic, so we know the IRS will come after us and our money. I fight to keep it where it belongs, in the pockets of our people.

    Adam Hatterley

What skills do you have that make you an effective leader?

I have a strong reputation for integrity and hard work, earned both in the US Navy and in the Florida Legislatureand have never hesitated to do what is right.

I am a problem solver who is willing to put politics aside and do what is best for the people of our state, not what is best for my political party or myself.

I am prepared to hold all parts of government accountable to their constituents and the Constitutions of United States and Florida. I’m ready to bring people’s interests back to the CFO’s office.

If elected, what legislation or policy will you advocate during your term?

Home Insurance. Florida is in a major property insurance crisis, and the CFO’s office needs a CFO who is willing to tackle this problem head-on, and do so with solutions in mind, rather than politics.

This crisis caused Florida become the least affordable state to live in in the entire country, and costs money for each of our residents.

It’s time to vote with our wallets and elect a CFO who cares about Floridians’ families, their bank accounts and their future.
