ATLANTE, October 21, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — At its annual Life Establishment Conference in October, LISA announced that its annual leadership award will be called the Alan H. Buerger Leadership Award. Last year, Mr. Buerger received the first leadership award.

Mr Buerger co-founded Coventry in 1982 with Constance Burger and is currently its Executive Chairman. Under Mr Buerger’s visionary leadership, Coventry created the secondary life insurance market, giving life insurance fair market value, and coined the term ‘life settlement’. By creating a secondary market for life insurance, Coventry, as a market leader, changed the face of financial services by making insurance more powerful, flexible and valuable. In 2015, the company launched Coventry Direct to extend Coventry’s educational initiatives to policyholders and their families.

“I couldn’t think of a more fitting way to recognize your leadership and efforts to grow this industry,” said Bryan NicholsonCEO of Lisa.
