Rinhabitants of Pennsylvania have until the 31st of December to submit a request for bonus checks for an amount between $250 and $1,657 under the aegis of the state Property/rent tax rebate program.
The program is designed for elderly and disabled Pennsylvania homeowners and renters.
The state allowed one-time bonus payments rather than regular payments $650 maximum payment to help beneficiaries better cope with inflation.
The state received funding from the federal American rescue plan to help with bonus payouts, which make up 70% of your annual payment.
Governor Tom Wolfe of Pennsylvania advises people who have not yet applied to do so as soon as possible. More 450,000 residents submitted applications and were accepted.
“This is the only year these one-time bonus discounts are available, and I don’t want to see eligible Pennsylvanians miss out on bonus discounts,” Governor Wolfe said.
