OWednesday, November 30 is the last day Delaware residents who have not received their 2022 Relief Reimbursementcan claim that direct payment $300 to help them fight inflation and rising energy prices, especially as temperatures begin to drop significantly.
This Relief Discount Program was created by the Internal Bill 360intended to support residents who face higher prices on groceries and gas since theCOVID-19[feminine] pandemic.
Some of these direct payments have already been sent, around 780,000 of them, to those Delaware residents who filed their 2020 personal income taxes by the due date.
Eligibility and how to request this direct payment
This direct payment of 300 dollars is reserved for residents of the State of Delaware who are over 18 and have a Social Security telephone number and a valid residential mailing address.
In addition, the person must have an active driver’s license issued by the Delaware DMV before December 31, 2021 or submit any other document that meets auditing standards.
Residents can apply online, but state authorities remind everyone that passing the application process does not guarantee they will be approved to receive the relief discount.
There is still no date for the delivery of the new set of payments.
