    Gas prices are still at a worrying level as we approach the end of 2022, with citizens all over the world United States now need to shop around to try to save money.

    Things have thankfully moved in the right direction over the past couple of weeks, but the cost of filling your tank is still far from easily affordable, so shopping around is logical.

    So we’re here to help again, and we’re back with the latest in our daily lists compiling the cheapest places to buy gas in the 10 most populous cities in the United States of America.

    Which state has the highest gas prices?

    As is apparently always the case, it is California residents who pay the most for their gas on average across the country. The average price in the Golden State is now below $6 per gallon and today is $5.787 per gallon. Hawaii and Alaska are next.

    Which state has the cheapest gas prices?

    Georgia has consistently been one or the cheapest in the United States for the average gas price and today the Peach State is at $3,216 a gallon. Many surrounding southern states are the next cheapest countries for gas, followed by Texas and Mississippi.

    When it comes to finding the cheapest gas stations in the United States, these are the cheapest places to stock up on gas in the 10 most populous cities in the country:
