Morgan is a CPA (Certified Public Accountant) with approximately 20 years of experience in leadership roles at various technology companies, and most recently served as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and later President of Bomgar Corporation before joining the ‘USM as visiting professor of finance in 2014. He was promoted to professor of practice at the university in the fall of 2015. Morgan teaches courses in financial analysis (entrepreneurial finance), personal finance, corporate finance business and short-term capital management.
Additionally, Morgan serves as an advisor to tech start-ups on finance-related issues and participates in a Southeast-based angel investment network. He is also a mentor in a startup program sponsored by Innovate Mississippi.
